Rochelle Athletics Center,
University of Wyoming – Laramie, Wyoming

This was the first phase of a significant addition to the athletic facilities at the university. Jim Sell Design is now working with a design build team on the second part of this expansion – a fully enclosed practice football field.  Landscape design at 7,000 feet above sea level requires careful plant selection. The massive buildings, Wyoming’s legendary wind, and the usual issues of accommodating thousands of daily pedestrians created site-development constraints for the design team.
