Prairie View Park – Evans, Colorado

In the summer of 2003, Jim Sell Design completed the design and construction documentation for this 9-acre park at the corner of Prairie View Drive and Harbor Lane. Construction was completed in 2004. Several site challenges faced our team, including an existing detention area and natural gas well. With community input, we completed a creative design that considered the constraints while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing landscape. Site amenities incorporate a restroom building, picnic shelter, play area, basketball court, soccer field, and parking lot.
